U.S. Robotics Announces Vice President of Americas Sales
Brian W. Babcock Becomes Newest Member of U.S. Robotics’ Executive Team
Rolling Meadows, Ill., November 21, 2000 — U.S. Robotics announced today the appointment of Brian W. Babcock, 38, as Vice President of Americas Sales. Mr. Babcock joins U.S. Robotics from Gateway, Inc., where he was Director of Channel Sales. At Gateway, he led the Channel Sales organization and was responsible for channel strategy and securing large national accounts.
“As an executive with more than 17 years of proven sales leadership at marquis technology companies, Mr. Babcock brings a level of sales expertise equal to the U.S. Robotics brand,” said Van Andrews, CEO of U.S. Robotics. “He understands how to execute and deliver results and also has a tremendous ability to motivate others to achieve business objectives.”
Prior to Gateway, Mr. Babcock directed sales at Toshiba and Epson.
